WGOLF: HCU Faces Strong Field at The Mo’

HCU to compete in 16-team field at Texas A&M’s Traditions Club

BRYAN, Texas – HCU women's golf travels to College Station to compete at The Mo' hosted by Texas A&M, taking place Monday and Tuesday, April 7-8, at Traditions Club.

The tournament field features a competitive lineup, including: No. 17 Texas A&M, No. 32 Baylor, No. 95 Abilene Christian, No. 97 Sam Houston, No. 104 Texas State, No. 115 Oral Roberts, No. 138 Central Arkansas, No. 146 Troy, No. 160 Missouri State, No. 164 Wichita State, No. 168 Northern Colorado, No. 195 HCU, No. 221 UTRGV, No. 242 Stephen F. Austin, No. 255 Texas Southern, and No. 263 Prairie View A&M.

The Huskies' lineup will feature freshman Ploy Makmanee, senior Lou Rousselot, freshman Alyssa Stewart, junior Hailey Hendershott, and junior Josalyn Keller.

Natcha Makmanee leads the team with a 75.0 stroke average across 24 rounds, highlighted by a pair of 219s at both the Diamante and Nashville Invitationals. Ploy Makmanee, recently named Southland Conference Women's Golfer of the Month for March, holds a 74.0 average over six rounds and earned a top-five finish. Stewart has posted a steady 76.0 average, with a standout even-par 216 at Diamante. Rousselot brings experience and consistency with a 76.2 average and a low of 71 at the GCU Invitational. Hendershott owns a 77.3 average and fired the team's lowest round of the season, a 66 at SeattleU. Keller rounds out the group with an 81.5 average.

This will be HCU's final tournament before the Southland Conference Championship, set for April 14-16 in San Marcos, Texas.
