WGOLF: Huskies Set for The Nashville Invitational

HCU returns to action in Tennessee ahead of final regular-season event

NASHVILLE, Tennessee – HCU women's golf will compete in The Nashville Invitational from March 24-25 at the President's Reserve Golf Course in Hermitage, Tennessee.

The tournament field includes teams from Austin Peay, Belmont, Butler, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Northridge, Eastern Washington, Iowa, Jacksonville, Lipscomb, Longwood, Morehead State, North Alabama, Tennessee State, Washington State, and Western Michigan.

The President's Reserve Golf Course, designed by Denis Griffiths, stretches up to 7,200 yards and winds through more than 300 acres of Tennessee wetlands along the Cumberland River. Recognized by Golf Digest Magazine as one of the Top 10 courses in Tennessee, it was also home to the ASUN Women's Golf Championship from 2017-2019.

HCU's lineup for the tournament will feature Alyssa Stewart, who holds a 75.3 scoring average, Natcha Makmanee at 76.1, Lou Rousselot at 74.8, Hailey Hendershott at 75.9, and Josalyn Keller at 81.44.

A practice round will take place on Sunday, March 23, before the tournament begins with a double shotgun start at 8:00 AM on Monday, March 24. The final round will also feature a shotgun start at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, March 25.

Following the Nashville Invitational, the Huskies will compete at The Mo' in Bryan, Texas, on April 7-8, marking their final tournament before the Southland Conference Championship.
