Ploy Makmanee earned the first Southland Conference Golfer of the Month honor of the 2025-26 season and the second of her career after an impressive September.
In two tournaments, Makmanee posted a scoring average of 72 with three rounds under par among her six played. She opened the year with a two-over par performance at the ORU Lady Clerico Invitational, placing 12
th overall. Makmanee followed that up with a runner-up finish at the Texas Tech Red Raider Invitational with a two-under-par showing that left her one stroke off the lead.
Makmanee and the Huskies will return to the links on Monday, Oct. 13, for the Golf Iconic Classic in Las Cruces, N.M. hosted by New Mexico State.
