LUBBOCK, Texas - The Houston Christian women's golf team will travel to Lubbock, Texas, for the Red Raider Invitational hosted by Texas Tech on September 23–24. The Huskies will be part of a competitive 15-team field that includes programs such as Central Arkansas, James Madison, Sam Houston, UTSA, and the host Red Raiders.
The tournament will be played at The Rawls Course, a par-72 layout measuring 6,894 yards. Teams will compete under a 54-hole stroke play format, counting four scores out of five each round. Action begins Tuesday with 36 holes in a shotgun start at 9 a.m. CT, followed by the final 18 holes on Wednesday morning at 8:15 a.m. CT.
HCU will field a lineup featuring a mix of returning experience and new faces. Sophomores
Alyssa Stewart and
Ploy Makmanee will provide stability at the top of the order, while junior
Abigail Inocian adds veteran leadership. Freshmen
Sara Pihlajamaki and
Serena Churchill look to continue gaining valuable collegiate experience in their first fall season. Natcha Makmanee will also join the group in competition.
The Huskies will begin play with the following tee times on Tuesday at 9 a.m. CT:

Following their trip to Lubbock, HCU will return to action at the Golf Iconic Classic in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on October 13–15.
