Arlette Concepcion and
Edouard Lecrivain led the way for the HCU men's and women's cross country teams on Friday morning at the NCAA South Central Regional.
Of the 29 full women's teams running the 6K race, HCU placed 13
th with 441 points. Concepcion ran a time of 20:53.3 to place 49
th individually.
Eline Mast was next to cross for the Huskies, coming in 57
th with a time of 21:03.6 for a new personal best.
Destiny Quintanilla crossed in 21:30.3, finishing 82
nd, while
Katherine Rogers posted a PR time of 21:57.2 to finish in 105
th.
Macie Hunter was the team's fifth finisher with a time of 22:53.8.
For the men in the 10K, Lecrivain and
Colby Kurtz finished back-to-back in 78
th and 79
th places with times of 31:49.6 and 31:50.5, respectively.
Raphael Aureau posted a top-100 finish, coming in 96
th with a time of 32:13.1.
Krzysztof Turski ran a time of 33:19.7 to come in 140
th with
Albin Wallenius cross four spots back with a mark of 33:23.8. The HCU men placed 20
th out of 26 teams with five finishers.
The Arkansas men and women made it a sweep at the event, winning both team titles.
