HCU Student-Athletes Participate in Sharpstown Clean-Up

HCU partnered with the neighborhood and councilman Edward Pollard on the day of service

HOUSTON - This past Saturday, HCU student-athletes from a number of teams spent a day of service helping to clean up the University's Sharpstown neighborhood in conjunction with District J city councilman Edward Pollard's office, the Sharpstown Civic Association and the Houston Parks Board.

HCU's student-athlete volunteers spent the morning cleaning up litter along the CenterPoint Energy Easement that runs through the neighborhood while other spent the morning doing cleanup and improvement efforts at nearby Ed White Elementary.
