FRISCO, Texas – The 2023 Southland Conference Football Media Day is set to take place live on ESPN+ this coming Monday, July 24, with head coach
Braxton Harris, senior offensive lineman
Christian Hood and junior All-American linebacker
Rodney Dansby representing the HCU football program.
Butch Alsandor and Spencer Tillman are set to host the broadcast, a virtual event this year, which will run from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Monday will mark the first SLC Media Day for head coach
Braxton Harris who took over as the second head coach in program history this past December. Hood, meanwhile, is an experienced piece of the HCU offensive line with 30 games played and 16 starts under his belt. Dansby was named third team Stats Perform All-America and a Hero Sports Sophomore All-American last season and over his first two seasons of collegiate football recorded more tackles than just one other player in the FCS.
The broadcast will be available on ESPN+ with archived video of each team's press conference and select quotes from each attendee coming available after the conclusion of the event.
The Huskies open the 2023 season at home vs. Arkansas Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sep. 2, at Husky Stadium.
