SUGAR LAND, Texas – The HBU women's golf team will host its annual HBU Husky Invitational Monday and Tuesday at the 6,084-yard, par-72 Riverbend Country Club.
 
The Huskies will send out the lineup of junior Elise Parel, freshmen Lou Rousselot and Jackie Nguyen, sophomore Lucia Allub and junior Aysis Azarcon. Sophomore Rocio Comparini and seniors Tiffany Nguyen and Grace Cassity will be competing individually.
 
HBU is coming off its first victory of the season at last week's UTRGV Invitational, with Parel and Rousselot posting top-five finishes.
 
In addition to HBU, the field consists of Austin Peay, Bowling Green, Creighton, Lamar, Omaha, Sam Houston, South Dakota, Tarleton, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, USC Upstate, UTEP, UT Arlington, UT Rio Grande Valley and Western Illinois.
