HBU Former Athlete Reunion Registration
HOUSTON - HBU takes on Northwestern State in Southland Conference football Saturday night at Husky Stadium. Sophomore quarterback
Desmond Young will make his second start for the Huskies (0-4, 0-1 SLC), after completing 16-of-28 passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns against Nicholls. Freshman receiver
Charles King has 20 catches for 202 yards and four touchdowns, catching one touchdown in each of the first four games. Junior
Tyson Thompson has 15 catches for 158 yards and averages a league-leading 11.0 yards on punt returns and ranks second with a 28.25-yard average on kickoff returns.

Brennan Young and sophomore safety
Isaiah Cash are tied for the team lead with 36 tackles. Young also had an interception and forced a fumble at Nicholls. Freshman linebacker

Kyler Baugh leads the team with 2.5 sacks.
Senior punter
Brady Buell leads the Southland with a 45.87-yard average and has won two SLC Special Teams Player of the Week awards this year. The Huskies are also 6-of-6 on field goal attempts.
Kaleb Fletcher has completed 99-of-148 passes for 941 yards, five touchdowns and four interceptions for the Demons (0-4, 0-1). Scooter Adams ranks third in the league with 286 rushing yards and a touchdown. Kendrick Price Jr. has made 14 catches for 204 yards and two touchdowns and Jay Griffin IV has 14 catches for 170 yards and a pair of scores.
Jomard Valsin leads NSU with 24 tackles, while PJ Herrington has 23, a pair of interceptions and a forced fumble. Kyle Moore also has 23 stops and Isaiah Longino leads the Demons with 2.5 sacks.
NSU leads the all-time series against HBU, 2-1, but the Huskies won the last meeting between the two schools, 48-21, on Sept. 21, 2019, in Houston. This is the first of two meetings between the two teams this year, with HBU hitting the road to Natchitoches on Nov. 6.
The first-ever HBU Former Athlete Reunion will be held prior to kickoff. Each former HBU athlete is eligible for two free tickets to the game, with the option to purchase additional tickets for only $5.
