RUSTON, La. - HBU will face its third-straight Football Bowl Subdivision opponent when it takes on Louisiana Tech Saturday at 6 p.m. at Joe Attel Stadium. Luke Anthony completed 13-of-21 passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns for LTU (1-0) in the season-opening, 31-30 victory over Southern Miss. Adrian Hardy had five catches for 79 yards and a touchdown, Smoke Harris made five catches for 59 yards and a touchdown, while Griffin Hebert made five catches for 48 yards and two touchdowns, including the go-ahead score with 14 seconds left. Justin Henderson rushed 18 times for 69 yards.

Tyler Grubbs led the Bulldogs' defense with 16 tackles and Ezekiel Barnett made 10. Eric Kendzior and Milton Williams each recorded a sack and Deshon Hall returned an interception 23 yards.

Jacob Barnes handles all of the kicking duties for the Bulldogs, making his only field goal attempt from 28 yards, and averaging 36.5 yards on two punts.

Saturday marks the first-ever meeting on the football field between the two schools.
