ABILENE, Texas – HBU will be on the road for three of its next four men's basketball games beginning this Wednesday with a Southland Conference game against the Abilene Christian Wildcats in Moody Coliseum at 7:30 p.m. Husky fans can listen to the game on the Husky Sports Network with Lonnie King providing play-by-play via HBUHuskies.com.

HBU (3-18, 3-9 SLC) remains one of the top offensive teams in the nation, averaging 81.7 points per game to rank sixth in the nation. The Huskies are coming off a 93-79 loss to Northwestern State, however, in which they had their worst three-point shooting game of the season. In the loss to the Demons, HBU connected on just 2-of-18 (11.1 percent) from deep to drop to 36.3 percent for the season which is the third-best mark in the conference.

Junior Ian DuBose led the Huskies with 22 points against NSU to bring his career total to 1,305 and move up two spots on the program's all-time scoring list to 13th. Sophomore Benjamin Uloko continued his strong play with 14 points and eight rebounds off the bench. Over the last three games Uloko has shot 65.4 percent (17-of-26) from the floor to average 13.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.

Abilene Christian (13-10, 8-4 SLC) enters Wednesday's game with a 10-2 record in Moody Coliseum. The Wildcats have split their last six games, alternating wins and losses with an 84-49 home win over Lamar the most recent result. Senior Payten Ricks led all players with 21 points in that game, knocking down 7-of-12 from three-point range.

Ricks leads the Wildcats on the season, averaging 14 points per game while his 2.3 steals per contest ranks him second in the SLC. ACU is out-rebounding opponents by nearly one rebound per game despite not having a single player averaging above five rpg. Joe Pleasant, a sophomore forward, is averaging 11.5 ppg and is shooting over 50 percent from the floor.

HBU will remain on the road but closer to home this Saturday, Feb. 15, for a 2:00 p.m. tip against the Lamar Cardinals in Beaumont, Texas.
