Game one: HBU was held to one hit and one baserunner in the game as
Demi Janak hit a double to go 1-3.
Jessica Patak (4-8) took the loss for the Huskies pitching 7 innings giving up one run on three hits and a walk.
Ashley Goetz and Sheridan Fisher both collected two hits, but Kyndal Kutac's solo homerun in the eigth inning walked things off for the Bearkats.
Lindsay McLeod (11-7) spun a gem for Sam Houston pitching a full 8 innings allowing one hit and striking out 17 batters.
Game two: The Huskies were led by
Demi Janak at the plate as she went a perfect 2-2 with a double and a walk. Senior
Brooke Bushman added a 1-3 performance driving in a run.
Caitlyn Brockway added to her team lead in homeruns with a solo shot to bring her total to 7 on the season.
Emma Guindon (5-5) took the loss in the circle for the Huskies as she gave up six runs with four earned on seven hits and two walks. Elliot Estes came in relief going 2.2 innings only allowing two hits and two walks.
Sam Houston had seven different Bearkats recorded a hit in game two led by Ashley Goetz and Sheridan Fisher who each collected two hits and scoring a run a piece.
Reagan Dunn (4-5) went the distance for Sam Houston giving up two runs on four hits with eight strikeouts.
