HOUSTON- HBU Softball took game one of the double-header by a score 7-4 before dropping the second game 5-2. 
Game one- HBU combined for a total of five hits with four of them going for extra bases to put up seven runs on the Lion's pitchers. Senior 
Demi Janak led the way going 2-3 with two doubles and one RBI. 
Caitlyn Brockway and 
Brooke Bushman hit back to back doubles and both drove in two runs. 
Haley Melton added a single and a run scored.
Jessica Patak (3-6) got the win in the circle pitching five innings giving up four runs, with three earned, on eight hits, and one walk. Elliot Estes came in and closed out the last two innings giving up only two hits. 
Game two- The Huskies combined for seven hits, but were only able to plate two runs in the loss. 
Sierra Humphrey, 
Amber Lotz, and 
Autumn Sydlik all had two hits in the game with Hummphrey and Lotz driving in the HBU runs. 
Brooke Bushman added to her extra base hits with a double in the seventh, but was stranded. 
Emma Guindon (5-1) took her first career loss as a Husky throwing another complete game giving up five runs, with four earned, on five hits, four walks, and three strikeouts. 
The Huskies will return to Husky Field tomorrow March 16 at Noon for the rubber game against the Southeastern Louisiana Lions.
