HOUSTON, TX- HBU Women's Basketball fell to Stephen F. Austin by a score of 42-59 in Sharp Gym Wednesday night. 

HBU (4-6, 0-1 SLC) was led by Megan Valdez-Crader who scored 11 points and grabbing three rebounds. Julija Vujakovic followed her up with nine points on 4-7 shooting. Abbey Sutherland put up a great defensive effort on the glass by grabbing a team high eight rebounds.

Stephen F. Austin (7-2, 1-0 SLC) was led by Aiyana Johnson who scored a game high 20 points on 10-15 shooting and grabbed 13 rebounds to record a double-double. Stephanie Visscher and Riley Harvey backed her up with 12 and 11 points respectively. Visscher added 12 rebounds for a double-double of her own and Harvey grabbed four rebounds. 

The Huskies return to action Saturday Dec. 21st as they host Southeastern Louisiana at 2:00 P.M.
