ABILENE, Texas - HBU looks to bounce back from its first FCS loss of the season, when it faces Abilene Christian in Southland Conference football Saturday at 6 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium. Bailey Zappe has completed 199-of-278 passes, ranking fourth in the FCS with a 71.6 completion percentage, and leading the nation with 2,207 yards and 24 touchdowns for the Huskies. Sophomore receiver
Jerreth Sterns leads the nation with 63 receptions for 549 yards and five touchdowns, while junior Ben Ratlaff has made 46 catches for 646 yards and is tied for the national lead with a school-record nine touchdowns. Senior
Gamar Girdy Brito has added 28 catches for 345 yards and two touchdowns and leads the nation, averaging 37.0 yards per kickoff return. Sophomore
Ean Beek has rushed for 463 yards and three touchdowns and made 12 catches for 112 yards and a score for the Huskies (4-2, 1-1 SLC).

Caleb Johnson ranks eighth nationally and leads the league with 11.0 tackles per game, totaling 66 on the season, to go along with five sacks, two fumble recoveries and an interception. Sophomore linebacker
Brennan Young has made 58 tackles and has two interceptions to tie for the team lead with freshman safety

Andre Walker leads the nation with 9.5 sacks. Freshman kicker
Gino Garcia has made 11-of-13 field goals, including 2-of-3 from beyond 50 yards.

Luke Anthony has completed 118-of-191 passes for 1,365 yards and nine touchdowns for ACU (2-4, 1-3). Tracy James has rushed for 453 yards and nine touchdowns and caught 13 passes for 165 yardsa nd three scores. Kobe Clark has caught 34 passes for 311 yards and a touchdown and Josh Fink has 25 receptions for 428 yards and three touchdowns.

Jeremiah Chambers has made 62 tackles and recovered a pair of fumbles, while Jack Gibbens has made 51 stops, two interceptions, a sack and a fumble recovery. Kameron Hill has made seven sacks and Ryan Stapp has recorded a pair of interceptions. Blair Zepeda has made 8-of-12 field goals, including a make from 51 yards.

ACU leads the all-time series, 4-1, after claiming a 38-13 victory over HBU last year in Houston. The Huskies were ranked 25
th in the AFCA Coaches Poll last week, but had their program-best four-game winning streak snapped by a 38-36 setback at home to UIW and fell out of the rankings.

The Huskies will play the second of back-to-back conference road games, when they take on McNeese next Saturday in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
