"Tonight was a hard-fought match," said head coach
Misty Jones. "Our girls definitely came to play. We defended very well and certainly frustrated SMU. We had some quality chances and did a fantastic job of putting them under pressure. SMU is a very solid team and we are pleased with our performance."
HBU will be back at home at Sorrels Field on Friday, Sep. 7, for a 6:00 p.m. matchup against North Texas as part of a doubleheader with the men's team following immediately after with a game against Oral Roberts.
