HOUSTON – UT Arlington hold HBU scoreless in the non-conference battle Tuesday afternoon at Husky Field.

Heidi Jaquez recorded the only two hits for the Huskies (6-20). Freshman
Elliott Estes (1-4) got the loss allowing two runs on eight hits, one error, three walks and no strikeouts in seven innings.
Laura Curry went 2-for-3 for UT Arlington (8-16) and drove in a run, while Sandra Mendoza singled, walked and scored. Kjirstyn Murphya went 1-for-3 and also scored for the Mavericks.
JoJo Valencia (8-11) earned the win for the Mavericks by holding the Huskies to no runs off two hits, one walk and one strikeout in 5.0 innings. Randi Phillips recorded her fourth save of the season by only allowing one hitter to reach with a hit by pitch.
The Huskies are on the road for the next four games starting with a road trip to Hammond, Louisiana to face Southeastern Louisiana Friday, April 6 at 5 p.m. and Saturday, April 7 at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m, before taking on North Texas Wednesday, April 11 at 6 p.m.
