HOUSTON - HBU continues its homestand when it faces Incarnate Word in Southland Conference women's basketball Saturday at 1 p.m. at Sharp Gym. The video and Legacy Sports Network audio broadcast will be available on HBUHuskies.com.
Sophomore guard
Lisa Zderadicka leads the Huskies (3-12, 1-4 SLC) with 9.5 points per game and 31 assists. Freshman forward
Taylor Kollmorgen posts 7.8 points and a team-leading 7.5 rebounds per game, while senior guard
Heidi Byrd adds 7.4 points per game and has scored in double figures in three of the last four.
Celia Garcia Paunero leads four Cardinals (4-12, 2-3) averaging in double figures with 17.0 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. Cheyenne Berry adds 12.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game, Imani Robinson chips in with 10.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game and Haley Frias puts up 10.4 points per game.
HBU leads the all-time series against UIW, 7-0, sweeping both matchups last year with a 64-46 victory in season finale in Houston on March 5 and eeking out a 62-61 win in San Antonio on Feb. 18.
The Huskies wrap up the three-game homestand against New Orleans Thursday at 7 p.m.
