HAMMOND, Louisiana - Trailing 1-0 at half time, HBU came out in the second half with a purpose and answered with a pair of goals, one in the 56
th minute and again in the 60
th minute, to rally for a 2-1 victory over Southeastern Louisiana in Southland Conference soccer at Strawberry Stadium Friday night.
"After coming out a little lethargic the first half we turned it around and played a very solid second half," head coach
Misty Jones said. "We showed great resilience, stuck to our game plan and scored a pair of nice goals. I am very proud of how the team responded."
A quick start from Southeastern's (4-7-1, 1-3-0 SLC) Payton Colson with a ball from Amber Lasher in the fourth minute of the match put them on the board giving the Huskies (4-6-1, 2-1-1 SLC) a 1-0 deficit. Both teams took shots throughout the half, but no one could find the back of the net.
HBU came back on the field in the second half ready to prove they weren't going anywhere. It only took HBU four shots until sophomore forward

th minute. After assisting the tying goal, senior midfielder
Allison Abendschein scored the game winner in the 60
