HOUSTON – HBU got off to a fast start, but couldn't maintain it as the Huskies dropped a 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-22) decision to Stephen F. Austin in Southland Conference volleyball Saturday afternoon at Sharp Gym.

th double-double with 15 kills and 15 digs for the Huskies (17-11, 8-4 SLC). Senior right side
Ashlee Vann added 11 kills, while junior libero
Hailey Erickson led HBU with 16 digs. Senior setter
Kayla Armer had 32 assists, nine digs and four kills.
Abby McIntyre led the Ladyjacks (16-8, 9-2) with nine kills, while Haley Coleman had eight and 16 digs. Lexus Cain chipped in with 12 digs, while Ann Hollas had 27 assists and seven digs.
SFA hit .109, while holding HBU to .063. The Ladyjacks outblocked the Huskies, 12-7, but HBU led in digs, 73-63.
The Huskies return to action when they face Lamar Tuesday at 7 p.m. in McDonald Gym.
