2016 (Junior): Banks earned All-Southland Conference First-Team and Southland Academic All-Conference First-Team honors … ranked second in the conference with 3.68 kills per set, while also averaging 3.29 digs per set … one of five Huskies to play in all 130 sets … totaled 478 kills, which ranks sixth all-time at HBU in a single season … recorded 428 digs, 49 blocks, 40 assists and a team-leading 33 aces … posted 21 double-doubles, with 26 double-digit kill and 25 double-digit dig performances … recorded five 20-plus kill performances … set the HBU single-match rally scoring record with 30 kills and also had 17 digs at Lamar (11/1) …  had 27 kills and 19 digs against Lamar (10/1) … put down 25 kills and had 17 digs at Nicholls (10/22) … recorded 22 kills and 21 digs for her first career 20-20 performance at UT Arlington (9/17) … had 20 kills and 10 digs against New Mexico (9/16) … named Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 5, after earning MVP honors by recording four-straight double-doubles to lead the Huskies to the Barcelona Labor Day Classic title … also named to the all-tournament team at the University of Houston’s Flo Hyman Collegiate Classic, where HBU won the team title … had a season-high four aces against Prairie View A&M (9/6) and UT Arlington (9/17) … named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Fall Honor Roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
 
2015 (Sophomore): Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year … All-Southland Conference honorable mention … appeared in 121 sets, starting all 34 matches … finished second on the team with 288 kills, averaging 2.38 per set, and fourth in digs with 292, averaging 2.41 per set … also totaled 25 assists and 18 service aces … recorded a .176 attack percentage … recorded seven double-doubles between digs and kills … recorded double-figure kills 12 times, including a career-high 19 kills at Prairie View A&M (9/1) … recorded double-figure digs 15 times, including a career-high 14 digs at South Alabama (9/11) … helped team to a runner-up finish in the Southland Conference Tournament.
 
Prior to HBU: Appeared in 22 sets across 14 matches at North Texas under head coach Andrew Palileo in 2014 … recorded season-highs in kills (7), attacks (14) and blocks (2) versus Mississippi Valley State (8/30) … recorded season-bests in digs (3) and aces (1) versus Jackson State (9/13).
 
High School: A four-year starter and letterwinner at Elkins High School under head coach Chelsea Larsen in Missouri City, Texas … named District 23-5A Offensive Player of the Year as a junior and senior … three-time first team all-district and team MVP (2011-13) team captain as a junior and senior … second team all-district as a freshman in 2010 … 2010 All-Sun Newspaper honorable mention … named to the honor roll all four years … featured in VYPE Houston’s “Players to Watch” in 2013 … played club for Houston Juniors under the direction of Tara-Cross Battle and Thomas Pratt, competing in the 2012 and 2013 Junior Nationals and 2012 AAU Nationals.
 
Personal: Full name is Bailey Rae Banks … born Nov. 8, 1995, in Missouri City, Texas … daughter of Robert and Cheryl Banks … father played football at Notre Dame and in the NFL with the Houston Oilers and Cleveland Browns, and is a member of the Virginia Hall of Fame of the Lower Virginia Peninsula … majoring in marketing.
