A snap over the head of Small, also the Warriors' punter, resulted in a 33-yard loss down to the COF 2 and Robinson punched it in on the Huskies' first play of the game. On HBU's next drive, Staver completed a 41-yard pass to
Ricardo Barnett down to the COF 7, then Robinson ran it in from there to give HBU a 14-0 lead.
Staver completed a 35-yard pass to sophomore wide receiver
D'Angelo Wallace to set up Day's three-yard TD run early in the second quarter. After the Warriors went three-and-out, Taylor returned a punt 48 yards for a touchdown. HBU forced a fumble recovered by sophomore safety

Travis Shinn's 43-yard field goal just before halftime to take a 37-0 lead into the break.
In the third quarter, senior quarterback

David Racine for 32 yards and Thompson rushed twice for 22 yard, including his six-yard touchdown. Following another Warriors three-and-out, Taylor returned another punt 49 yards for a touchdown. The Huskies forced another fumble, which was picked up by sophomore defensive end

Devonte Clark had a 24 yard gain on an end-around, then Fleming scored on a quarterback sneak on the first play of the fourth quarter.
HBU took over with 10:35 to go in the game and went on a 10-play, 68-yard drive that chewed up 8:26 off the clock. Thompson carried eight times on the drive for 53 yards and scored from eight yards out for the Huskies' final score.
Due to an NCAA ruling, the statistics from the game are not official and will not be reflected in HBU's cumulative season statistics or record book. The NCAA does, however, recognize the victory in HBU's win total.
The Huskies return to Southland Conference play when they host Central Arkansas Saturday, Oct. 10 at 2:30 p.m. at Husky Stadium. The game will be televised live on American Sports Network.
