LAKE CHARLES, La. – The HBU volleyball team fell 3-0 (12-25, 21-25, 24-26) at McNeese State on Thursday night inside Memorial Gym. 
The Huskies (11-12, 4-5 SLC), despite only being out-killed 43-40, were outhit .271-.151 for the match by the Cowgirls (10-13, 5-3 SLC). 
Junior outside hitter 
Jessica Wooten turned in a team-high 10 kills, accompanied with eight digs, while junior libero 
Melissa Fuchs recorded a match-high 15 digs. Junior setter 
Kayla Armer finished with 34 assists. 
McNeese turned in a .412 clip and held HBU to a .056 attack efficiency to take the opening set, 25-12. 
The Huskies then followed with a match-high .237 hitting percentage, getting six kills from Wooten, but were unable to get the better of the Cowgirls in a 25-21 defeat in set two. 
In the third set, both teams pulled even on 18 occasions and traded the lead a total of six times right up until the end, as McNeese prevailed 26-24. 
HBU will look to get back on the winning track on Saturday, visiting Nicholls in a 1 p.m. first serve.
