HOUSTON – Midway through the first half, the women's soccer match between HBU and Oral Roberts was delayed due to rain and lightning. Storms continued to roll through the area, causing the match to be cancelled. No makeup date is scheduled.

The match was called with ORU leading the Huskies, 2-1. All three goals came three minutes apart, as Ashley Martin scored on a corner kick in the 19^th minute, which was answered a minute later by Connor Ryder, assisted by Ellee Hall. Just before the match was called, and the rain coming down, Megan Guico gave ORU a 2-1 lead off a corner kick.

HBU will play at University of Houston Friday, Sept. 12 at 7 pm at the Carl Lewis Complex before returning to Sorrels Field to host North Texas Sunday, Sept. 14 at 1 pm.
