LAS CRUCES, N.M. – HBU scored twice in the first half and added an insurance marker in the second, as the Huskies defeated New Mexico State, 3-0, Friday evening.
"The game was an excellent team effort," said head coach,
Misty Jones. "We executed on the things we worked on on practice this week which is always great to see. Patty had an outstanding performance in goal and definitely earned the shutout."

Taylor Gibson sent in a cross that an Aggie defender tried to clear, but headed the ball over her own keeper's head into the net in the 16th minute. Freshman

HBU (1-2-0) conclude the season-opening four-game road trip at UTEP Sunday afternoon at 2 pm central.
