Live StatsGame Notes HOUSTON - HBU will head across town for the second time this season when the Huskies face Houston Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Hofheinz Pavilion. The Huskies' first intracity road trip yielded a 58-55 victory over Rice on Dec. 3 at Tudor Fieldhouse. The Huskies (4-3) are led by sophomore forward
Colter Lasher, who averages 10.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, and junior guard
Anthony Odunsi, who adds 9.2 points per game and is tied for the team lead in assists. HBU has four other players averaging at least seven points per game: senior center
Ricmonds Vilde, who leads the team with 7.3 rebounds per game, sophomore forward
Reveal Chukwujekwu, junior forward
Jourdan Stickler and senior guard
Marcel Smith, who is tied with Odunsi for the team lead in assists. Freshman center
Josh Ibarra is averaging 6.7 rebounds and 3.67 blocks per game, which is tied for fifth in the nation.
UH (4-1) has four players averaging in double figures, led by Devonta Pollard, who posts 14.8 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. Eric Weary adds 14.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, while Jherrod Stiggers averages 13.6 points per game and Cavon Baker avearges 11.2 points per game. LeRon Barnes leads the Cougars on the glass with 8.4 rebounds per game.
UH leads the all-time series over HBU, 11-0, but the two teams have not faced one another since the Cougars posted an 87-60 victory over the Huskies on Nov. 27, 1996 at Hofheinz.
The Huskies will finish off a stretch of four-out-of-five on the road against UC-Riverside Saturday at 3 p.m. CST in Riverside, Calif., before having 10 days off for the Christmas break.
