Josh Ibarra leads HBU in rebounding with 8.0 boards per game and blocked shots with 4.5 per game.
Dallas Christian (2-8) is led by sophomore forward Trent Dawson, senior forwards Miles Burnside and Joshua Harris. Dawson scored 18 points against Texas Wesleyan Tuesday, while Burnside had 14 and Harris had 10. The Crusaders are members of the National Christian College Athletic Association.
HBU leads the all-time series against Dallas Christian, 4-0. The Huskies won the last meeting against the Crusaders, 82-73, at Sharp Gym on Nov. 17, 2012.
Tyler Russell had 20 points, five assists and three steals, while
Marcel Smith added 10 points and Art Bernardi led the Huskies with 21 points and seven rebounds.
The Huskies make the short trek up 59 to take on crosstown rival Rice on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Tudor Fieldhouse.
