Kayla Armer led HBU with a double-double of 35 assists and 10 digs. Senior libero
Haley Hoffman recorded 11 digs for the Huskies. Freshman middle blocker
Blair Gillard had four block assists for HBU.
Jill Ivy recorded 16 kills, 11 digs and 4 block assists for the Lady Jacks. Tori Bates had 11 kills for SFA, while Paige Holland had a match-high of 41 assists. Justice Walker also recorded 11 kills for the Lady Jacks. OJ Olson had 14 digs for SFA.
The Lady Jacks outhit the Huskies 54-38. SFA outblocked HBU 8-6. The Huskies were shy of just one dig against the Lady Jacks.
The Huskies will return to action on the road as they face Abilene Christian Thursday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. They will then face the University of Incarnate Word on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 2 p.m.
