2013: Shecterle appeared in 30 matches and 101 sets as a freshman…tallied a total of 189 digs…recorded a career-high 14 digs against Sam Houston State (9/28) and against Northwestern State (11/23) during the Southland Conference Tournament.
 
High School: Was a three-year letterwinner for Turner at Pearland High School for coach John Turner…as a senior, she totaled 1,264 digs and 129 service aces to earn District 22-5A Most Valuable Player honors…was named to the TGCA 5A All-State and East All-Star Teams, the Houston Chronicle All-Greater Houston Team, the GHVCA North All-Star Team and was a GHVCA Preseason Top 32 Team pick…named the Chronicle and Lonestar Volleyball player of the week…had 1,078 digs and 97 aces as a junior and was named 24-5A Defensive Player of the Year…high school teammate of fellow freshman, Ashlee Vann…played club volleyball for Houston Steller and coach Sharon Nelson.
