HOUSTON – After going 1-1-0 in its California trip last weekend, Houston Baptist returns home to face Texas State on Fri., Aug. 31 at 7 pm, and Stephen F. Austin Sunday afternoon at 1 pm. Matches at Sorrels Field are free of charge.
HBU (2-2-0) will look to go above .500 this weekend. The Huskies are 0-4-0 lifetime against Texas State and 0-2-0 against SFA.
Natalie Hager recorded her second game winner of the season in the Huskies' 1-0 win over UC Riverside on Aug. 24. She leads the team with two goals and four points.

Texas State (2-2-0) defeated visiting Prairie View, 3-0, on Aug. 28. Sydney Curry leads the Bobcats with two goals and five points, while Gabbi Cotttee is second in points with three.
Caitlynn Rinehart and Natalie Gardini have split time in goal for Texas State. Rinehart is 1-1-0 with a 0.94 GAA and a .750 save percentage, while Gardini is also 1-1-0 with a 1.59 GAA and a .727 save percentage.
SFA (3-1) was supposed to play at LSU on Friday before playing at HBU, but that match has been postponed due to Hurricane Isaac. The Ladyjacks lost a neutral match against Texas Tech on Aug. 24, 1-0, then defeated TCU in Fort Worth, 2-0, on Aug. 26.
Chelsea Raymond leads SFA with three goals and is tied for the team lead of seven points with Kylie Louw. Louw leads the Ladyjacks with five assists. Laura Sadler and Zuri Prince each have four points.
