HOUSTON - Visiting TCU scored 24 seconds into the match and went on from there, as Houston Baptist lost to the Horned Frogs, 3-0, Sunday afternoon at Sorrels Field.
HBU had 17 shots, four on goal.

Shelby Horn took the loss, making seven saves in 90 minutes.
TCU had 22 shots, 10 hitting the target. Brittany Slyman led the Frogs with two shots on goal. Tori Hale had a match-high five shots.
Ashleagh Bullington played 83 minutes, making three saves. Ryan Smith played the final seven minutes, making one save.
TCU wasted little time getting an advantage in the match, as the Frogs scored 24 seconds in, Hale assisted by Calhoun.
The teams would enter halftime with TCU leading 1-0, as HBU held a slim 12-11 advantage in shots.
TCU scored its second goal of the match in the 51
st minute, as Jordan Calhoun scored, assisted by Katie Taylor. Taylor sent a beautiful pass up the middle to Calhoun, who one-touched it past Horn.
The Frogs' final score came 12 minutes later, in the 63
rd minute, as Brookie Kviz assisted on Kristen Halverson's score, as Halverson shot it in the upper right part of the net.
HBU (5-7-0) begins Great West Conference play – and title defense – at Howard on Sept. 29 at 6 pm CST and Delaware State on Oct. 1 at 10 am CST.
