HBU Wraps Up Road Trip at Fairleigh Dickinson

Huskies take on Knights in non-conference matchup.

TEANECK, N.J. - Houston Baptist takes a break from Great West Conference play and wraps up its three-game road trip against Fairleigh Dickinson Monday at 6 p.m. CST at the Rothman Center.

Senior guard Andrew Gonzalez leads the Huskies (1-15) and the Great West with 21.3 points per game to go along with 5.2 rebounds per game. Senior guard Michael Moss averages 9.1 points per game and is coming off a career-high 24-point effort at NJIT Saturday. Junior forward Terry Bembry leads the team with 7.2 rebounds per game.

Mike Scott leads FDU (3-12) with 16.0 points per game and averages 6.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. Terence Grier averages 12.0 points per game, while Kamil Svardlik averages 11.9 points and leads the Knights with 6.7 rebounds per game.

The Huskies average 67.0 points per game, while the Knights average 62.7. HBU leads the all-time series, 1-0, after defeating FDU, 92-77, on Dec. 2, 2009 for its only non-conference win last season. Gonzalez scored 30 points in that game.
