SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Houston Baptist hits the road for a pair of games, beginning with Santa Clara Friday at 9 p.m. CST at the Leavey Center.
HBU senior guard Andrew Gonzalez leads the Great West Conference with 21.6 points per game to go with 5.4 rebounds per game. Also for the Huskies (1-8), senior guard Michael Moss averages 8.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game and leads the team with 32 assists.
Kevin Foster leads Santa Clara (5-5) with 18.5 points per game and 37 assists. Marc Trasolini leads the Broncos with 6.3 rebounds per game and averages 11.3 points per game. Evan Roquemore averages 10.5 points per game.
Santa Clara leads the all-time series against HBU, 2-0, and won last year's meeting, 67-62, at Sharp Gym.
