Senior middle blocker Jada Allen led the Huskies to a 2-1 record this week. The DeSoto, Texas, native hit .364 with 45 kills and 15 blocks. In Saturday's win over defending conference champion Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, she had 13 kills and five blocks. In Thursday's victory over UIW, Allen registered a career high 19 kills and added seven blocks, one shy of her career high. In Tuesday's loss at McNeese, she had 13 kills and three blocks.
