Ballesteros was selected as the Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week Tuesday.
Ballesteros hit .529 with 32 kills (2.46/set) and 14 blocks (1.08/set) in leading the Huskies to a 4-0 record and was named MVP of the Marriott Westchase Invitational. The El Paso, Texas, native began the week with a 10-kill, zero-error, three-block performance, hitting .588 in a sweep of Prairie View A&M Tuesday on the road.

In the opener of the Marriott Westchase Invitational at home Friday, Ballesteros hit .476 with four blocks in a sweep of Lamar. She had five kills and six blocks in a four-set win over Louisiana Tech and six kills and a block in a another sweep of PVAMU.
