Senior Ben Drew shattered the school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase by more than 13 seconds Wednesday in Azusa, California. The Toowoomba, Australia, native clocked a time of 8:47. 54, becoming the first Husky to break nine minutes in the event. Drew's time is 12 seconds faster than any other time in the Southland Conference this season and ranks among the top 25 nationally.
