Sophomore guard Timia Jefferson poured in a career-high 28 points in Saturday's win over Nicholls. The Mansfield, Texas, native hit 9-of-15 shots, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range, and 6-of-7 from the free throw line. Jefferson, who had 12 points against Lamar on Wednesday to average 20.0 points per game for the week, has scored in double figures in nine-straight games and ranks fifth in the Southland Conference with 14.9 points per game.
