Sophomore guard Timia Jefferson led the Huskies to an 82-56 rout of Northwestern State in the conference opener Saturday. The Mansfield, Texas, native scored 16 points, while adding five steals, three rebounds and two assists. In only 22 minutes, Jefferson went 5-for-9 from the field and 6-for-7 from the free throw line. Since going scoreless in the season opener at Rice, she has scored in double figures in each of the last seven games.
