Senior guard Jalon Gates averaged 18.0 points, hitting 47 percent from 3-point range in the Huskies' two games last week. In Tuesday's loss at #17 Dayton, the Selma, Texas, native scored 16 points, shooting 6-of-10 from the field, including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc. In Saturday's loss to Samford, Gates scored 20 points, shooting 6-of-12 overall and 5-for-11 from3-point range.
