Freshman Elise Parel led the Huskies to a 27-stroke victory at the Huntsville Toyota Bearkat Invitational Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 at High Meadow Ranch Country Club. The Kingwood, Texas, native finished second individually, firing a 4-over par 220. She shot even-par 72 in the first round, then back-to-back rounds of 2-over par 74.
