Freshman pitcher Emma Guindon hurled the first two complete game shutouts of her career as the Huskies went 3-1 last week. The Tomball, Texas, native allowed only three hits with eight strikeouts and a three walks as she went the distance in a 7-0 victory over UTSA Wednesday. In Friday's 3-0 conference win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Guindon allowed three hits, struck out five and walked a pair. For her efforts, she earned Southland Conference Pitcher of the Week honors.
