Sophomore guard Megan Valdez-Crader averaged 18.0 points per game as the Huskies split a pair during the opening week of Southland Conference play. In Wednesday's loss at Lamar, the San Antonio native poured in a career-high 19 points, grabbed four rebounds and had four steals. In Saturday's victory over New Orleans, Valdez-Crader had 17 points, six rebounds, two assists and a pair of steals.
