Junior cornerback Raphael Lewis became the first Husky in program history to record two interceptions in one game in Saturday's loss at McNeese. The Elk Grove, California, native racked up 57 yards on his returns and also made two tackles. In the second quarter, Lewis stepped in front of a Cowboy pass and returned it 21 yards for a touchdown to give the Huskies a 10-3 lead. In the fourth quarter, he came up with another pick and returned it 36 yards to the 6-yard line. Lewis was named Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his performance.
