Freshman Tay Nance competed at the NCAA West Regionals in the triple jump, leaping to 11.79m/38-8.25. The Cleveland, Texas, native ended her freshman campaign becoming the first freshman field event competitor to qualify for nationals and broke both the indoor and outdoor triple jump school records.
