Senior forward Anna Strickland did something no HBU non-guard had done in 12 years when she dished out a career-high eight assists Monday against Huston-Tillotson, the most since center Rachel Rost had that many in November, 2003. In the Huskies' 96-65 win over the Lady Rams, Strickland tied her career high of 20 points, pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season, and had two steals, all while not turning the ball over in 28 minutes. In the conference opener against Northwestern State, The Woodlands, Texas, native led all players with 11 rebounds, but had her string of consecutive double-doubles halted at four games, as she finished with nine points. Strickland continues to lead the Southland Conference - and is T-6th nationally - with 12.7 rebounds per game.
