Junior Matthew McCollough turned in his second-straight dominant start, hurling his first-career complete game and striking out a career-high 10 in the Huskies' 2-1 victory at UT Arlington Saturday. He threw 82 of his 95 pitches for strikes, was ahead with an 0-2 count 13 times, and struck out six on three pitches, including two in the ninth. For his efforts, he was named SLC Pitcher of the Week. In his first two starts of the season, McCollough is 2-0 with a 0.60 ERA, leads the Southland with 18 strikeouts, and has not issued a walk.
