Steenholdt earned double-doubles number 10 and 11 in the Huskies' wins at Lamar and Sam Houston State. She set a new personal best with five blocks, as she scored a game high 20 points and pulled down 15 rebounds as the Huskies won their first-ever game over Lamar. Steenholdt matched her block record two days later in a thrilling one-point win over Sam Houston State, as she recorded team highs of 17 points and 12 rebounds. She had a huge block to help the Huskies beat the Bearkats, as it resulted in a shot-clock violation with 35 seconds to go and the Huskies leading by two. Steenholdt's efforts earned her Southland Conference Player of the Week honors.
