Kennell earned his first win of the season, nearly tossing a complete game, as the Huskies defeated Big 12-member Kansas on Saturday, 7-4. He gave up nine hits, two earned runs and one walk while striking out eight in 8.2 innings. He got 13 flyouts and five groundouts.
