2018 (Junior): Carter made 15 starts, tied for the second-most in the Southland Conference, and led the league with 109.1 innings pitched…went 4-5, ranked 18^th in the conference with a 3.87 ERA, tied for second with three complete games, ranked fifth with 80 strikeouts and walked 27…took a no-decision in a 2-0, 11-inning victory at Fresno State (2/23), shutting out the Bulldogs on six hits with eight strikeouts and two walks in eight innings…earned his first win of the season by going the distance and striking out six with no walks in a 7-4 win over Lamar (3/29)…took a no-decision, going seven innings in a 5-3 victory at Central Arkansas (4/7)…went 6.2 innings to notch the win in a 23-20 victory at Abilene Christian (4/13)…hurled 8.1 innings and struck out 11 to earn the win in a 12-4 victory over Incarnate Word (4/20)…threw 9.0 innings and struck out a career-high 12, but took a no-decision in a 4-3, 10-inning loss at Northwestern State (4/27)…went the distance, allowing one run on four hits with six strikeouts and two walks in a 5-1 victory at Sam Houston State (5/11)…pinch ran and scored on Matt Heck’s two-run, walk-off home run in a 4-3 victory over Nicholls (3/17).
 
2017 (Sophomore): Appeared in 19 games, including nine starts…went 7-3 with a 3.28 ERA, two saves, 46 strikeouts and 25 walks in 71.1 innings…earned the save by recording the final two outs in a 5-4 victory to eliminate top-seeded McNeese, then later that evening allowed two runs on eight hits in a 6-2 win over Central Arkansas at the Southland Conference Tournament (5/26)…selected to the Southland Conference All-Tournament Team…won his first three starts of the season against Fordham (2/18), Rhode Island (2/25) and LIU Brooklyn (3/4)…struck out a season-high seven against Fordham…allowed three runs on seven hits in 5.1 innings to get the win against Southeastern Louisiana (3/26)…tossed a scoreless inning in a 3-1 decision over Incarnate Word (4/23) to earn his first save of the year…hurled 7.2 shutout innings in relief, allowing three hits and striking out three, to notch the victory in a 2-1 win over Sam Houston State (5/12)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
2016 (Redshirt Freshman): Made 17 appearances on the mound, including 10 starts...went 2-4 with a 6.08 ERA, a save, a complete game, 36 strikeouts and 22 walks in 60.2 innings…in his first career start, allowed one run on six hits with two strikeouts in 3.0 innings at Stephen F. Austin (3/22)…notched his first career save, tossing a perfect 10th inning of a 3-2 victory at Central Arkansas (4/26)…took a no-decision, shutting out Incarnate Word (4/3) on five hits with five striekouts over 6.1 innings in a 2-0 victory…picked up his first career win, going the distance in a 4-1 victory over Abilene Christian (4/10), allowing four hits and striking out five…allowed three runs on six hits over 6.1 innings in an 8-3 victory over Nicholls (5/6)...went hitless in two at-bats…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
2015 (Freshman): Received a medical redshirt, missing the season with an injury.
 
High School: Was a two-year letterwinner at Pantego Christian Academy...as a senior, went 6-1 with a 2.03 ERA, a save, 63 strikeouts and 20 walks in 31.0 innings...also hit .378 with 14 doubles, a triple, two home runs, 35 RBIs and 43 runs...as a junior, went 4-3 with a 1.71 ERA, 82 strikeouts and 17 walks in 45.0 innings...hit .403 with eight doubles, two triples, 18 RBIs and 27 runs.
