Senior (2014-15): Played in and started 16 games, missing the final 16 contests due to injury...team captain...led the Huskies with 17.8 points and 10.3 rebounds per game...was the only player in the Southland Conference to average a double double...in six conference games, averaged 14.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per contest....shot 53.2 percent from the floor (118-for-222) and 73.8 from the free throw line (45-for-61)...second on the team with 25 blocked shots...also registered 26 steals and 20 assists...scored in double figures in 14 of the 16 games played, and 20-plus points in eight contests...posted 10 double-doubles...eclipsed the 1,500th career point at UT-Pan American (11/29), where she became the first player in the DI era to reach over 1,000 points...registered season highs of 27 points at UTEP (12/6) and 16 rebounds twice: at Texas State (11/22) and at UTEP (12/6)...in her HBU career, Steenholdt holds the all-time record in both scoring average (18.1) and rebounding average (10.1)...she holds the DI-era record for four other marks: blocked shots (158), scoring (1,686), rebounds (931), and field-goal percentage (51.2).
Junior (2013-14): Appeared in and started 28 games...led the team with 18.2 points and 9.8 rebounds per game...second in the Southland Conference in scoring and third in rebounding...led team with 51 blocks and 50 steals...shot a team-best 55 percent from the floor...scored in double-figures 24 times, including three 30-plus performances, two of which came in conference play...scored a season-high 36 points and dished out a career-high six assists against Huston-Tillotson (12/28)...had 15 double-doubles, which were tied for second-most in the conference, one shy of the leader...averaged 18.6 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in conference play, which is good for second in the conference in scoring and fifth in rebounding...had back-to-back 30-point games: against Huston Tillotson (12/28) and at Oral Roberts (1/2)....named First Team All-Conference and Southland Conference Spring Honor Roll...team captain...earned her 1,000-career point against UT-Pan American on Dec. 3 and enters the 2014-15 campaign with 1,402 career points.
Sophomore (2012-13): Played in all 31 games with 29 starts...led team with 18.6 points per game, 9.9 rebounds per game, 51 blocks, 77 steals, 50% field-goal percentage, 232 field-goals made, and 32 minutes per game...scored in double figures 27 times and had 15 double doubles...ranked 39th nationally in points per game (18.6), 38th in rebounds per game (9.9), and T-20th in double doubles (15)...scored 20-plus points 15 times, including two 30-plus point performances in a span of a month...scored season-high 33 points against Chicago State (3/7) and grabbed a season-best 16 rebounds twice: at New Mexico (11/18) and against NJIT (3/9)...two-time Great West Conference Player of the Week (12/5, 3/12)...led the conference in points per game and third in rebounds per game...First Team All-Conference selection...team captain.
Freshman (2011-12): Appeared in and started in 17 games, missing the final 11 games due to injury...led the team and the Great West Conference with 18.7 points and 10.9 rebounds per game...her 47 percent field-goal percentage was second-best in the conference...her 1.82 blocks a game (31 total) was second-most in the conference...she also had 28 steals and 11 assists...set new program records with 40 points and 22 rebounds against Huston-Tillotson (1/10) in just 27 minutes...finished in double-figures in 16 of the 17 games and grabbed 10+ rebounds in 10 of the 17...named GWC Player of the Week twice (11/29 and 1/10)...before going down to injury, Steenholdt was ranked T-24th nationally in points per game, 9th in rebounds, and T-4th in double-doubles (10), leading all NCAA Division I freshmen in those categories...at the conclusion of the women's basketball season, Steenholdt was ranked T-28th in points and 11th in rebounds...earned Great West Honorable Mention All-Conference honors...co-team captain.
High School: Four-year varsity starter and four-year letterwinner for head coach Joe Carpenter...in 74 games, she averaged 14.9 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game...as a freshman, she was the MVP of her Girls Holiday Basketball Tournament and earned the Heart of a Champion and Varsity Award..was a First Team All-District and First Team All-State selection and was the Defensive Player of the Year and All-District MVP as a junior...as a sophomore, she won the Leading Scorer Award (scoring 467 points), the Rebounder Award (300 rebounds) and was named Most Outstanding Coyote...had a 3.5 or higher GPA freshman through junior years and was the Student of the Month senior year...she earned the Highest GPA-Varsity Award as a freshman.
